HOT Hump Day!

This morning in math we practiced solving word problems that involved regrouping years to months. We also identified the volume of given shapes. Once again, I worked with a small group calculating elapsed time. There is a coordinate graphing worksheet for homework.

We began reading by selecting the plays that we will perform and the students who will work in each group. Then Mrs. Head and Mrs. Hepner met with their groups while I met with the lions groups.

Lions: We reviewed the unknown words and then read and discussed the final chapter of The Cricket in Times Square.

Following PE, lunch and recess the students will work independently on their second realistic fiction writing piece and other unfinished work, while I conference with students on their writing pieces.

We will end the day with a lesson, in the computer lab, about careers, led by Mrs. Howard.
