This morning the children were treated to a cultural arts assembly. They watched some Chinese acrobats perform. I heard it was a wonderful show. I missed it since Miss Jones graciously found parents to watch our classes while teachers had extra (much needed ) planning time.
Following the assembly Mr. Vogel's math students went to his room for a lesson. The rest of the class worked on missing assignments. There were a lot of them!
After PE, lunch and indoor recess our class was split into two. One half went to FASTT math while the other stayed behind to work on their writing. Then the two groups traded places.
We ended the day with a science investigation. We used the tuning forks to see how sound travels.
Homework: My math class has a fact family worksheet. The entire class has a cause/effect worksheet.
