This morning the students worked on solving our weekly puzzles. After the announcements, we switched for math.
We began math with a session of Xtra Math. Then, the children worked on solving a Math Mystery.
We also participated in an earthquake and sever weather practice drill.
After enjoying lunch and outdoor recess, the children will spend the rest of the day with Mrs. Mullins-Mitchell as their substitute. I will be attending my own son's Fifth grade promotion assembly.
The math students will finish their Math Mystery task and then choose links from GC - Math to practice skills we learned this year.
After math, my homeroom will finish reading their book club books, complete their day 10 job, and then meet with their group to discuss their book.
Then, they will go to music.
After music, the will participate in an Escape Room focusing on reading skills.
I will be back for our last day, an early dismissal, tomorrow.
