This morning the students worked on their ABCs of Fourth Grade and the Welcome to Fourth Grade brochure for Fly Up Day. Those who were finished practiced keyboarding using Typing Club. After the announcements, we switched for math.
Today was a fun and exciting day in math...we did a math based Escape Room!! Then we played a quick game of Kahoot.
Then, the children enjoyed lunch and outdoor recess.
After recess, the students completed a session of Xtra Math and then we played a 5th grade math review game of Kahoot.
Before going to Fly Up day to hear about fifth grade from Mrs. Eckert, we reviewed who was missing work and the children had a bit of time to catch up. Then, they visited fifth grade and, after that, they heard about the Montgomery County Public Library's summer reading program, in the media center with Mrs. Alapati.
When we finally returned to class we ate snack and continued enjoying the Teach the Teachers presentations.
The students ended their day in art with Mrs. Daniell.
