Marvelous Monday - Last Day of PARCC!

This morning the students commented about their weekend, on our morning message, and then completed the Monday portion of the vocabulary sheet for our new word of the week, fortunate.  After the announcements, the students went to PE, due to a schedule change.

After PE, the children began a flocabulary lesson about the 3 Branches of government.

Then, they enjoyed lunch and outdoor recess.

Next, the students took the fourth unit of the PARCC math test.  For most, this was the final PARCC assessment for this school year!!  Yippee!!

After testing, the children ate snack and took a break.

Then, we read about the 3 branches of government and compared and contrasted their roles and requirements.  Next, we tested our new knowledge with a 3 Branches of Government Kahoot.

We ended the day by visiting Mrs. Shapot´s class to watch the film version of the novel, Shiloh.  Then, we discussed the differences between the movie and the book.
