I don't want to talk about the game. Too depressing!

In math we took a quiz and then the children got to practice math anchor activities.

We began reading with the morning message. Then we talked about character traits and how understanding characters helps us develop a deeper understanding of stories. Then I read chapter 1 of Ramona Quimby, Age 8 and we discussed character traits for Ramona AND evidence (from the chapter) that supports the traits we named.

Following music, lunch and recess, I will continue with my reading assessments. Mrs. Benson will take the children to the computer where they will log onto the Internet, navigate to the class blog and use some of the links on the blog.

They will end the day by reviewing the elements of a map and drawing a map of their desk.
