Monday

During our morning reading block the students continued working on their plays.  Groups rotated between practicing the staging of the play, constructing props, scenery and costumes, and working on reading fluency and inflection.

In math the children used unifix cubes to build and identify the volume of given figures.  Mrs. Benson worked with a small group to calculate elapsed time.  There is a telling time worksheet for homework.

After math the children went to music.  After that they enjoyed lunch and outdoor recess.

Following recess, my reading class continued working on their plays.  We ended the day with the children working to publish their Aztec brochures using the iPads.
